1998年，上田测量仪器厂注册为日本第一家获得JCSS认可的压力分类实验室（Accreditation＃0080）。 长野计器（NKS）建立了基于日本国家标准的校准系统，并委托JCSS对三种类型的压力表进行校准，即自重测试仪，数字压力表和机械压力表。我们执行美国最高水平的校准精度。此外，我们还获得了ILAC-MRA认证，国际认可我们的校准报告。

From extra-high pressure to fine pressure

This small sensor element is at the heart of NAGANO KEIKI (NKS)'s pressure sensors.

In 1980 NAGANO KEIKI (NKS) successfully developed the semiconductor strain gauge pressure sensor based on CVD technology. This lead to substantial growth in NAGANO KEIKI (NKS)’s pressure sensor business.

Today, NAGANO KEIKI (NKS)'s pressure measurement and control products are in high demand as they are essential measuring instruments supporting various industries in Japan and all over the world.

Reliable technologies handed down from person to person

Each of NAGANO KEIKI (NKS)'s employees is dedicated to manufacturing high-quality products. This philosophy is handed down from senior staff to all levels of the company. The skills and knowledge of reliable “monozukuri” manufacturing are entrusted to the next generation while constantly seeking further improvement.

The history of NAGANO KEIKI (NKS) can be said to be the history of pressure measuring technology. NAGANO KEIKI (NKS), since its start-up in 1896 and founding in 1948, has defined itself as a “technology-oriented company.” As the leading company in pressure gauges and pressure sensors, we have expanded our product lineup to include pressure measurement and control technologies. This has followed the needs of our customers who trust NAGANO KEIKI (NKS)’s quality and performance.

NAGANO KEIKI (NKS) has also implemented an aggressive growth strategy in our overseas markets, including acquiring Ashcroft, a major pressure measuring instruments manufacturer in the U.S. Moreover we are further expanding our sales network to provide our products across Asia, Europe and the U.S.

Finally, as pressure measurement and control have become indispensable elements in recent “green technologies”, NAGANO KEIKI (NKS) is willing to play an innovative and responsible role in efforts to preserve the environment for the future.

In 1998, the Ueda Measurement Instrument Plant was registered as the first JCSS-accredited laboratory in Japan for the pressure classification (Accreditation #0080). NAGANO KEIKI (NKS) has established a calibration system based on Japanese national standards and is entrusted with JCSS calibration for three types of pressure gauges, namely dead-weight testers, digital pressure gauges, and mechanical pressure gauges. We perform the highest level of calibration accuracy in the nation. Also, we have acquired ILAC-MRA accreditation providing international recognition of our calibration reports.

NAGANO KEIKI (NKS) is accredited under JCSS, which uses ISO/IEC 17025 (JIS Q17025) as its accreditation criteria, which is based on the accreditation scheme ISO/IEC 17011. The accreditation body (IA Japan) that operates JCSS is a signatory of the mutual recognition agreement with the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Conference (ILAC).

Ueda Measurement Instrument Plant and Maruko Electronic Equipment Plant have both been granted ISO 9001 certification, testifying our commitment to quality control.
Maruko Electronic Equipment Plant has also acquired IATF16949 - the quality control standard for automotive components.
